ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. − Flagler College athletic director Jud Damon announced Erika Lang-Montgomery as the 18th head coach of the women’s basketball program, this afternoon (July 2). She will begin at Flagler July 13.

The Peach Belt Conference officially announced the addition of Montevallo and Flagler.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Wednesday, July 1, represents a day of great change as the University of Montevallo and Flagler College have both become official members of the Peach Belt Conference. The two schools were announced as the 12th and 13th members of the conference on Dec. 18, but their membership became official with the start of the new academic year July 1.

AUGUSTINE, Fla. − Former Flagler College men’s golfer Ian Hoffman carded an even-par 72 on the final day of the U.S. Amateur Public Links Qualifier which concluded Tuesday (June 23) at the St. Johns Golf and Country Club. He finished the two-day tournament with a 5-under 139 and finished third overall which automatically qualifies him for the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship July 13-18 at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Okla.

ORLANDO, Fla. − Flagler College’s Chris Bray (Hilliard, Fla./Hilliard HS), Joel Dahlenburg (St. Augustine, Fla./Bartram Trail HS) and Steven Davis (Orange Park, Fla./Fleming Island HS) participated in the 18th Florida State Public Links Championship which concluded last Sunday (June 14) at the Grande Pines Golf Club (par 72; 6,869 yards).

Veronica Figueroa
Women's Tennis
Veronica Figueroa won the deciding match in Flagler's 5-1 win over Florida Tech in the opening round of the South (Boca Raton) Regional Thursday morning.

This season, she posted a 12-6 record at No. 2 singles and won seven of the last 10 matches she played. Figueroa also went 5-3 playing with doubles teammate Jennifer Saviano.
