Meg Weathersby were interviewed following the Saints' 3-0 win over Dowling College. Here's what they said.
Keys to the game. Taylor Mott: "Today we passed really well. We, as a team, feel pretty confident that if we put in a good pass, we've got good hitters that will score. Meg and Katie took some big swings from the back row. "
Meg Weathersby: "I think our setters used a great job using our middles. We just have faster middles. For some reason today, it worked really well."
Playing loose. Katie Beale: "I think we always try to play that way. If we have the care-free attitude it makes us play better. It's a great thing for us.
Communication. Weathersby: "We just played really well together. We do a really good job of communicating. Our back row sees the block and tells the front-row hitters where to go.
Advancing to the Final Four. Beale: "It feels great; Especially for my senior year. We're all excited being here and we hope to come out on top.
