Flagler's Cotrone falls in title match

SUMTER, S.C. – The Flagler College junior
David Cotrone (Bradenton, Fla./Bradenton Christian) run through the men’s singles “A” flight ended today as lost 6-1 and 6-2 to No. 9-seed Rafael Array of Armstrong Atlantic State at the Wilson/ITA Southeast Regional at the Palmetto Tennis Center.
Cotrone battled illness and fatigue today but had one of the most memorable runs in the four-day tournament as he knocked off four seeded players including the No. 1 seed.
