Lauren Pfeiffer lost in the women's singles "B" flight championship match this morning.

SUMTER, S.C. – Lauren Pfeiffer fell to Vuokko Vahatolo 6-2 and 6-3 in the championship match of the Wilson/ITA Southeast Regional women’s “B” flight Monday morning.

Pfeiffer had won five previous matches to get to the final and won all in straight sets.

INDIANAPOLIS – No. 22 (ITA Division II) Flagler College will take on No. 13 Francis Marion University in the NCAA Division II Women’s Tennis Southeast Regional #1 May 7 at 2 p.m. at Bacon Park in Savannah, Ga. The two teams have already met twice this year with Francis Marion winning both times, 7-2 at Francis Marion (Mar. 27) and 5-3 at the Peach Belt Conference Championships (Apr. 16) in Jonesboro, Ga.

Flagler women to take on Francis Marion at PBC Champs
JONESBORO, Ga. - The 22nd-ranked (ITA Division II Poll) Flagler College women's tennis team will face 13th-ranked Francis Marion University Friday (Apr. 16) at the Clayton County Tennis Center in Jonesboro, Ga., the site of the 2010 Peach Belt Conference Championships. Francis Marion is seeded fourth while Flagler is the fifth seed.
