Ivey Schulkers returns as Flagler's cheerleading coach.
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Flagler College Athletic Director Jud Damon announced Ivey Schulkers will return as the head cheerleading coach, a position she held from 2006-08, this afternoon.

“I am looking forward to working with the cheerleaders again and I would like to thank Mr. Damon for this opportunity,” said Schulkers.

Schulkers, an alum of Flagler, is currently the school’s associate director of admissions. She has served in Flagler’s admissions department since graduating in 2006 with a degree in English.

She has served on Flagler’s Athletic Hall of Fame selection board in 2006 and was a key advisor in the creation of the school’s mascot performer and name selection. Schulkers has also served on several other boards at Flagler and is active in community service.

The Flagler College cheerleaders perform at basketball home games and Red Zone events which are sponsored by the Saints Club, the official athletic booster club at Flagler.

CLEVELAND, Ohio − Flagler College had 17 of its student-athletes recognized by the Division II Athletics Directors Association (DII ADA). The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes the academic accomplishments of student-athletes at the Division II level. Flagler was also one-of-five Peach Belt Conference member institutions to have student-athletes honored.
