ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Flagler College women's tennis team moved up to No. 23 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Top 50 Poll released Wednesday. The Saints opened the season ranked No. 46. The Flagler women are also ranked No. 5 in the Southeast Region.

Like the men's poll, the Peach Belt Conference is well represented with seven schools, headed by two-time defending national champion Armstrong Atlantic State University topping the poll. Francis Marion University is No. 4, followed by Columbus State University (No. 8), Clayton State University (No. 11), Augusta State University (No. 29), Georgia College & State University (No. 31), and Lander University (No. 35).

The Southeast Region poll is as follows: 1) AASU; 2) Francis Marion; 3) Columbus State; 4) Clayton State; 5) Flagler; 6) Augusta State; 7) GCSU; 8) Lander; 9) Erskine; and, 10) Lees-McRae.
