SALISBURY, N.C. − Kaitlyn Edwards (Winter Springs, Fla./Winter Springs HS) remains in a two-way tie for 38th place after the first two rounds at the 54-hole NCAA Division II South Regional Championships Monday at the Country Club of Salisbury (par 71; 6,094 yards). The top individual player is Emily Gibson of the University of Montevallo. She is 5-over par with a 147 and is four shot off the overall lead. Ashley Denton of Wingate University is in second place among the individuals with an 11-over 153. Kelsey Babos of Catawba College is third with a 16-over 158.

Nova Southeastern University (606) holds a one stroke lead over Florida Southern College (607) for first place. Rollins College and Barry University are tied for third with a 614. The top three teams will advance to the national championships.
