SAVANNAH, Ga. – No. 15 (ITA Division II) Flagler College rolled to a 5-1 victory over No. 35 Limestone College in an opening round match of the NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Southeast Regional Thursday morning at Bacon Park.

Flagler improved to 14-8 on the season and will advance to the quarterfinals and meet Peach Belt Conference-rival Francis Marion University, ranked 13th nationally, tomorrow (May 7) at 10 a.m.

The Saints swept all three doubles matches to start the day with a 3-0 lead. The ninth-ranked tandem of David Cotrone (Bradenton, Fla./Bradenton Christian) and Gino Ramirez (Pembroke Pines, Fla./Dr. Michael Krop HS) triumphed over Jordan Vicain and Christian Warnholtz 8-1 at No. 1. Harry Snoxell (Bradenton, Fla./Bradenton Prep) and Tim Hansson (Norrkoping, Sweden/Mercyhurst College) bested Miguel Lopez-Zuniga and Henrik Nordquist 8-4 at No. 2 while Peter Coulis (Bradenton, Fla./Edison Academic Center) and Skyler Engel (New Albany, Ohio/University of Toledo) completed the sweep with an 8-6 victory over Pablo Avila and Mike Stephenson.

In singles play, Coulis posted the first win with a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Avila at No. 4. Vicain forced Flagler to win another singles flight as he defeated Mason Addison (Longwood, Fla./Circle Christian School) 6-1 and 6-0 at No. 6. Ramirez ended the match with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Warnholtz at No. 3 singles.

Flagler is now 2-1 in NCAA regional play, including last year's debut where it went 1-1 in the South Regional.
