Flagler men ranked No. 17 in final ITA poll
Men's tennis team
The men's tennis team finished ranked No. 17, nationally.
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Flagler College men’s tennis team is ranked No. 17 in the final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II Top 50 Poll and junior David Cotrone (Bradenton, Fla./Bradenton Christian School) is ranked No. 11 in Division II singles. Cotrone and Gino Ramirez (Pembroke Pines, Fla./Dr. Michael Krop HS) finished ranked No. 10 in doubles.

The Flagler men were also ranked No. 6 in the Southeast Region and Cotrone is ranked fifth in singles in the region. Cotrone and Ramirez ranked third in doubles.

The Saints posted an overall record of 14-9, including a 5-4 conference mark. Flagler lost its only match in the conference tournament, but posted a win in the Southeast Region.

Armstrong Atlantic State University led the Peach Belt Conference contingent with a No. 3 ranking. Columbus State University followed at No. 9. The remainder of the conference schools is as follows: Georgia College & State University (No. 12), Francis Marion University (No. 15), Lander University (No. 16) and Augusta State University (No. 19).

SKILLMAN, N.J. – The Flagler College men’s tennis team concluded the regular season ranked No. 12 in the final Campbell’s/Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Division II Team Rankings which were released today. Flagler had been ranked No. 12 since early March. David Cotrone and Gino Ramirez earned ITA All-America honors for the second consecutive year.
