Killeen named Peach Belt Offensive Player of the Week

AUGUSTA, Ga. − Flagler College senior midfielder
Conor Killeen (Dublin, Ireland/Colaiste Ide) was selected as the Peach Belt Conference’s Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for the period ending Sept. 5., as released by conference officials today.
Killeen tallied two goals in Flagler’s 3-0 triumph over then-No. 3 Lees-McRae College. His goal in the 16th minute gave the Saints some much needed breathing room and his second goal of the night came in the 78th minute to put the match out of reach. Killeen is tied for first place in goals scored (2) and points (4) in the conference.
No. 8 (NSCAA) travels to No. 21 Montevallo on Saturday, 7:30 p.m. (Central) in the conference opener for both teams.
