MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – For the second consecutive year Flagler College junior
Sam Mack was selected to the Peach Belt Conference's Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team which was released Friday night at the conference's pre-championship banquet.
A total of 18 runners earned academic honors.
To be eligible for the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must 1) participate in at least half of his/her team's events and either be a starter or significant contributor; 2) achieved a 3.30 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) and 3) completed at least one full academic year at his or her current institution. The Peach Belt Conference Sports Information Directors oversee and select the teams.
Mack is a criminology major at Flagler. He has run in all three meets Flagler has competed in and turned in a season-best 8K time of 28:36.5 at the Mountain Dew Invitational. Mack was a PBC President's Honor Roll Gold Scholar and a D2 ADA award recipient last year.

Crisman Jones was Flagler's representative on the all-sportsmanship team.
The Flagler men's cross country team will participate in the Peach Belt Conference Championship tomorrow (Oct. 21) at Milledgeville, Georgia.
