NEW ORLEANS – The Flagler College women's cross country team returned to the poll at No. 8 in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Southeast Region ranking which was released Tuesday (Oct. 25).

Flagler is one of five Peach Belt Conference teams ranked in the top 10. The University of Montevallo, the PBC champion, holds on to the top spot in the regional ranking. The University of North Georgia stayed at No. 3. Augusta University (No. 7) and UNC Pembroke (No. 9) bookend Flagler.

Flagler finished in fourth place at the PBC Championships last Saturday. Kaitlin Rodriguez earned all-conference honors after finishing in eighth place.

Flagler heads to Montevallo, Alabama on Nov. 5 to compete in the NCAA D2 Southeast Regional.
